Volume I has 7 colored maps, 4 of which are fold-out, 7 black-and-white sketches, and 39 black-and-white (minus color frontispiece) illustrations. Volume II has 27 color maps including 14 fold-out, 14 black-and-white sketches, and 54 black-and-white illustrations (minus color frontispiece). Volume III has 16 maps including 10 fold-out, 49 black-and-white sketches, and 40 black-and-white (minus color frontis) illustrations. Textblocks are clean and solid.
