1 Rudyard Kiplings Verse Inclusive Edition 1885 1918 book

Swastika emblem on front cover and title page. 1919, Copp Clark, 787 pages, gold gilt along top edges of pages

Rudyard Kipling used the swastika symbol long before the Nazi regime adulterated it from the original Indian symbol of good luck and well being. Kipling was vehemently opposed to the Nazis as shown by his removal of all swastikas from his publications from 1920 on.  Kipling died in 1936 prior to realising just how much his foresight of the Nazi regime would be realised.
